Reflections on a Summer’s Day
The boys and I had rehearsal last night and it sounded fantastic. Chris will be playing banjo, baritone guitar, and straight-up-kick-your-ass guitar. Tor will be playing sequenced beats, digital bass, and straight-up-punch-your-butt drums. I will be playing normal guitar and singing, normally. I think the trio is really good at controlling the reins on the horses, but also letting them run a bit… you’ll see next weekend.
As I’ve been talking to people about the new record, I’ve realized that I don’t date much. Some of these songs are about things that happened like.. a long time ago. I should get out more.
